Our History
Founded in 2005 in response to the Indian Ocean tsunami, PeacePulse has grown from a small group of volunteers to an international humanitarian organization working in over 30 countries.
Our mission is to provide life-saving assistance in emergencies and work with communities to build resilience against future crises. We believe in the power of local partnerships and community-led solutions.
Today, PeacePulse has over 2,000 staff members worldwide and responds to an average of 15 major emergencies each year, while maintaining long-term development programs in vulnerable communities.
